The first green camp in Schwerin is already behind us.
The main theme was renewable energy sources. Students from partner countries met in Technikcenter, where they took part in workshops of Design Thinking Method, and afterwards – as a warm-up – build a parachute prototype for an egg 🙂 There was a lot of ideas, a lot of fun and laughter. The results of this short 15-minute work were inspiring! The students visited the energy company WEMAG, focused on reliable, fast and forward-looking concepts for ecological energy supply. One of the aims of the Green Camp was to address the problem presented by WEMAG about the surplus energy production “How big a storage system should be so that there is no need to buy energy from other grids?” Students working in international groups had many surprising ideas. The task was not easy, but the ideas presented during the next day’s finale were very interesting and innovative, as well as the way in which the participants dealt with the problem.
