The camp was great!

We are delighted with the attitude of young people, who during these 3 days were gushing with ideas and good energy. We would like to thank all the participants, their guardians and project partners. Special thanks to the companies that prepared the challenges and provided expert help during the camp.

As a reminder, the second Green Camp dedicated to the topic of Waste management take place in Gdansk October 7-9.

Check out what happen during the camp:

Day 1 | 7.10. | ARRIVAL /study visits, workshops, work in groups/

Your adventure begins. You will meet peers from 5 countries with whom you will work intensively for the next three days.

Study visit in Port of Gdansk. Students will learn how they work in the port looks like and what are the development plans and challenges related to environmental issues. Special accent will be put on waste management..


  • Introduction to waste management – “Waste reduction as a top priority of waste management  /An introduction to the concept of “zero waste”/.
  • Design Thinking /Introduction to the method. The reminder of the steps in the design thinking process/

Day 2 | 8.10. | GREEN CAMP challenges 

Exhibition REENERGY in Hevelianum Center. Participants will get to know the second life of waste, look at the pollution of our planet from the perspective of space. They will also experience an ecological journey through the city.

Presentation of companies and problems – the selection of problems to be worked out by teams Tasks will be prepared by: Port of Gdansk, City Hall of Gdańsk, Utilisation centre and Gdańsk Water and Sewage Infrastructure

Working on challenges from companies with the rules of Design thinking method.

The grand finale!

It’s time for you to present your solutions and convince representatives of companies to implement them.

Who, when and where?

Our Green Camps are open to all youth within the age group 16-24

To participate, you must be from one of the 5 countries: Denmark, Germany, Lithuania, Norway or Poland.

Recruitment will be carried out separately for participants from each country.

Recruitment for the 2nd green camp in Gdańsk, 07-09.10.2019 (recruitment closed)

We will cover your travel costs and accommodation.
